Whether you are new to the Charlottesville area or on the verge of being considered a local, finding a new favorite place is always an adventure in our great town. Today, we would like to spotlight one of our favorite spots, the Ivy Inn Restaurant. This family owned and operated business, right around the corner from the University of Virginia, is teeming with history and amazing food. Having the opportunity to dine within a two hundred year old home is definitely an experience you will not forget. The atmosphere can only be described as elegant, yet casual, and the service is unparalleled. The Ivy Inn boasts a well cultivated menu that will please anyone in your group. From the first bite, you will taste the difference a passionate chef and well sourced ingredients make. A family meal, group gathering, or dinner for one, your plate will be crafted with an unrivaled attention to detail. Chef, owner and close friend of the Marjorie Adam Team, Angelo Vangelopoulos never fails to impress and is an artist in the kitchen. Our team cherishes everything on the menu from the shrimp & grits to the creme brulee. Not to mention, Marjorie’s husband, Philippe, was once the pastry chef in this great establishment. She and her family have celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries dining here over the years. If you have not yet experienced the Ivy Inn, now is the time!
